The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) requires pilots, air traffic controllers, and other aviation personnel to undergo regular medical examinations to ensure they meet the medical standards required for aviation safety. Our CASA-designated Aviation Medical Examiners (DAMEs) are qualified to conduct these specialized examinations and issue the appropriate medical certificates.
Aviation Medical Certificate Classes
CASA issues different classes of medical certificates depending on your aviation role:
- Class 1 - Commercial and Airline Transport Pilots
- Class 2 - Private Pilots
- Class 3 - Air Traffic Controllers
- Basic Class 2 - Recreational Pilots
